What is this? I never even tried this before. This must be how people post to their blogs. I have had issues doing that but now I know why. I should try a picture, too…

 

Def Leppard

Going to a concert.... a friend of mine's brother manages the band Heart - Def Leppard is touring with them.  She invited me and Harrison - ROCK ON!  I was quite the rocker back in the day - this should be good.  My parents didn't let me go to concerts so this is going to be awesome. 

**Full disclosure**  I now understand why they didn't allow me to go...good thing too...

Testing completed

Went to Columbus, GA today and took the test...not too bad.  I think I did well.  Three weeks for the results - mailed and emailed - woo hoo.  This is kins of a big deal to me.  If I don't get in, it probably means I am getting less and less intelligent - I don't think I am but, I am forever the optimist so...

Personal Gratification; expanding my mind and circle of friends

On Saturday I am taking a test to join a group of like-minded individuals.  If I pass, I am in.  All indications are that I'll pass with no problem but yet, if I do not pass, I will feel like my mind is withering away.  I guess I'd just have to fix it if that's the case!

I am doing some mind exercises today to get all sharpened up.

I guess this is where I start.  I just type in what I want to say and that's that.  I would like to organize my blog into different sections;  general, alex, artisan (with sub categories of knitting and ?), books, science, teaching.  I don't know how to do that yet, but I will find out.
